I was thrilled to hear from Anna’s mom back in the winter of 2021, asking if they could book a spot for Anna’s senior portraits for 2022. They had seen my work on instagram and originally asked if I would travel to Indiana to do her senior portrait session. After more consideration, they decided it would be more fun and memorable for the two of them to take a trip to Colorado to do her senior photos here!
We spent a long time discussing all of her location options. We had a long list of ideas and had to narrow down to get to the final locations chosen. After a lot of research and planning, Anna chose Red Rocks Park, Mt Falcon and Littleton’s downtown. We started the shoot in Littleton and it’s such a cute downtown. I love these images from the very beginning of her senior shoot!
After leaving Littleton, we drove out to Red Rocks Park. We couldn’t get as close to the rocks as we wanted, but I LOVE these road shots with the formations in back and the gorgeous backlight we got off the rocks.
Our last destination was of course the mountains! Anna came all the way from Indiana, and she wanted to get as much of our gorgeous Colorado landscape as she could. Therefore, we chose Mt. Falcon for golden hour and sunset and it did not disappoint.
It was such an honor to be Anna’s senior photographer. Not only is she gorgeous, she is one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. Anna is already committed to Hope College, in Holland Michigan. She is a talented swimmer and will be a part of the women’s swim team. I knew Anna was an amazing athlete, and I asked her mom to share some of her highest accomplishments. I was blown away reading about her talent in this article! Additionally, she is planning on majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Nueroscience. I can’t wait to see what amazing things she accomplishes next!
